As a homeschooling family, we’re always printing out something, whether it’s worksheets, lessons, or coloring pages for the little one. For work and for other family matters, we also utilize my 2 year old Canon Pixma printer for printing out forms, tickets, itineraries, etc. My trusty printer was the Canon Pixma iP2870. Super easy to use, plug and play, and the ink is very affordable. I’ve printed out a LOT of our materials with this bad boy, as well as recipes for the recipe book that I’m trying to put together.

When Canon Philippines invited me to the Canon #PixMom event, I was thrilled! They have recently released their Ink Efficient E-Series Line Up with E470 and E410, making them the newest cost-efficient printers that are compatible with low-cost, high-yield ink cartridges.

The Canon PIXMA E410 (SRP Php 3,695.00) is perfect for moms like me who have school-aged kids who would always have homework and projects that needs to be printed out because of its ability to print up to 400 black and white documents, and 180 colored pages.

The Canon PIXMA E470 (SRP Php 4,395.00) has a built-in Wi-Fi feature that allows you to print from anywhere in the home when paired with the Google Cloud Print*1 service. But even without a wireless router, it can support direct wireless connection to mobile devices or laptop computers using its Access Point Mode.

At the #PIXMom event, there were a couple of talks and workshops by fellow moms who are also dependent on their Canon Pixma printers. Whether for their kids’ homework or their own arts and craft projects. Personally, I love my Canon products at home, my PIXMA printer and my Canon Selphy photo printer.

We made and printed our personalized canvas designs that we can make into little pouches or to whatever we want.

Canon made sure that every Canon purchase counts so they came up the Canon Red App where customers can earn points to get exciting freebies and rewards from over 150 partner merchants! Registered users can enjoy discounts on inks and more, plus up to Php 10,000 worth of credits with every purchase of Canon products!

Canon Philippines generously gave Mommies at the #PIXMom event a PIXMA MG3070S! It’s an All-In-One Printer that allows me to print via Wi-Fi, scan documents (THIS WAS SO HELPFUL FOR OUR VISA REQUIREMENTS!) as well as make copies in black and white or colored. I love how I can just plug it in, turn it on and print from anywhere in the house.

This is my setup (before I re-arranged our room last week). FYI, we can all agree that this area was cleaned for this pictorial. Hahaha!

After plugging in and putting in the ink. I need to set up the network connection on my PIXMA MG 3070S using my laptop.

Now we print! Yay!

Canon never disappoints with photo and image quality talaga. I’ve recently ran out of ink too! So time to buy a new batch so I can print more homeschool materials for the #SantiagoBros 🙂
