With Jacob slowly loosing all (AND I MEAN ALL, he has lost around 8 so far!) his baby teeth since he was 5 years old, it’s so important to re-emphasize the importance of brushing his teeth. And when Wacky turned 2, we switched him from baby toothpaste to Colgate Junior toothpaste. Brushing the boys’ teeth can take so much of our remaining energy by nighttime.
About 3 months ago or so, I saw these cute Minions toothbrushes at SM Hypermarket. It was around the time the boys’ toothbrush were due to be replaced, so I got the pack of two Colgate Minions toothbrush. Since then, I didn’t have to worry if the boys’ toothbrushes getting lost or falling off the counter because the Colgate Minions toothbrushes has a suction cup base. For a while there, they would even hang their toothbrushes on the wall!
We make brushing more fun for the #SantiagoBros by singing brush time songs (especially when we were just starting out with training them to do it by themselves, with Wacky, I still do this from time to time!), letting them brush together so that Wacky can learn from his Kuya Jacob and of course, choosing the one toothpaste and toothbrush characters they’ll surely love, Minions!
Kuya Jacob is so good at brushing his teeth now. Such a great example for Wacky.
Squeeze, brush, rinse!
Brushing is so much more fun when the #SantiagoBros do it together! <3
