I love online shopping, more so now than before because it saves me the time and energy of bringing along the kids and husband (you Mommas know how hard this is!) and battling with Metro Manila traffic. You can check out my review of BeautyMNL here where I can get my favorite makeup brands delivered straight to my doorstep within 24 hours. I also shop at Lazada for home goods. I haven’t tried Sephora YET (‘coz I’m still saving up for that! LOL) to get imported makeup brands that I am dying to try.

I recently discovered that I can do all my online shopping at ShopBack and get the best discounts AND CASHBACK! I think most Filipinos are not familiar with Cashbacks (although credit card companies offer them as rebates). But I first heard about Cashbacks or rebates in the US. I’m glad we finally have ShopBack to do that for us here in the Philippines!

So how does ShopBack work?

ShopBack is actually in partnership with a bunch of online stores that I’m pretty sure you are all familiar with.

Shopback PH

These online stores reward ShopBack with commission for referring us, the shoppers, to shop on their site. And because the people at ShopBack are awesome, instead of keeping the rewards all to themselves, they share them with us as Cashback! So it’s like, getting the best deals AND extra savings by getting a percentage of our purchase back as Cashback. How cool is that?!

Just click on any of your favorite stores through ShopBack and we’d get redirected to that store’s website. It’s important to note that you MUST do all transactions on this tab/browser page and not open other tabs/windows. This is so ShopBack can track our purchases for the Cashback we would be receiving after a day or two (some a couple of days). I’ve checked it out for myself while shopping at Sephora, Althea and Goods.ph!

At Sephora Philippines, you can also use the discount codes they have for extra extra discounts.

Shopback Sephora

With the 8.0% Cashback with Shopback for new Sephora customers like me (3% for old customers), when I purchase the Philosophy Hope In A Jar Overnight Moisturizer and the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette, I will receive Php 408.84 Cashback from ShopBack! So that means with my Php 5,023.00 total, I really only paid Php 4,614.16! I really want the Chocolate Bon Bons palette! <3

It’s my first time visiting Althea, a online store dedicated to Korean beauty and skin care products. You get 5% Cashback and if you’re a new Althea customer like me, you get a Php300 Welcome Gift in a form of Php150 off your 1st purchase and Php150 instant rebate with a minimum spend of Php1,500. Oh, and plus free shipping above Php999!

So since I’m getting free shipping and the Php300 welcome gift, my real total would only be Php1,350! On top of that, I get Php 78.00 Cashback! Yay!

As I mentioned earlier, I shop for the household items and even for the #SantiagoBros’ stuff (diapers and growing up milk) at Lazada. If you haven’t tried shopping at Lazada yet, I’d like to know where you’ve been hiding! Lazada is your all around online store where you can get the latest gadgets, children’s toys, clothes, home appliances and even grocery items! Lazada is such a life saver for mommies like me.

Sign up for an account at ShopBack with your Facebook account or use your email. Go to Shopback.PH to find out more!

I’m using Shopback too. I suggest they add a web browser plug-in because sometimes, I missed logging my Shopback account when I shop online. Or make the login session expire after 30 days.

  5. I had been reading a lot of good reviews about Althea especially because I am interested in trying more Korean brands. I like online shopping too. I might check this out.

I discovered Shopback too last year. However, I haven’t really been able to explore it much afterwards coz I haven’t been doing lots of online shopping during the past few months. Hope I’ll be able to take advantage of the site soon.

  7. Tried Shopback, too, and I got addicted to Althea!!! Wait till you receive you loot–the packaging is pure love! I should have shared with you my discount code—17% off!

I’ve been trying to hold myself back from buying too much online lately, haha! Kasi naman, talagang napapabili ako hahaha. Lazada’s been my ultimate weakness, kahit na nabadtrip ako sa kanila nung December for a misleading ad for a product that I bought.

Anyway, I’ve tried Shopback but I haven’t tried Althea (na sa tingin ko mapapagastos na naman ako once I’m in).
