I’ve never had a small wallet because I carry so many cards (Hello Mommies who can relate!) and I tend to accumulate lots of receipts. Honestly, my wallet isn’t full of cash. It’s full of trash most of the time! Receipts from ATM withdrawals, receipts from everywhere I spent money on (I keep an Excel/Google Sheet to keep track of our expense). Add to the fact that a lot of establishments just love giving away coins as change these days. So my wallet tends to get bulky and more often than not, it dies on me sooner than it should because of torn stitches (from that growing coin purse!).
It was only until when my childhood friend and BFF Tin, told me about kiepsky™, the latest innovation in slim leather wallets that can hold up to 12 cards and around 8 paper bills. Lo and behold, I find out that the creator and owner is actually one of my classmates back in high school! They sent me one as a gift and to try out the kiepsky SlimTrim wallet for myself.
I absolutely love kiepsky’s packaging. It bodes well with the promise of being able to carry everything I need in a wallet while still keeping it slim and stylish. Very minimalistic, modern and straight to the point. Oh, and you even get a discount voucher for your next purchase!
They carefully pick out the materials they use for all kiepsky wallets. From leather to thread. The stitching on it is amazing. I was told their technique and their choice of leather helps keep kiepsky™ slim and sleek. The kiepsky™ SlimTrim Wallet is their first series to many more high quality leather products that kiepsky will have for us.
A little background on my current wallets and I, I carry THREE different kinds of wallets in my bag: One, a Kate Spade one that holds some cash and my frequently used cards; Two, a coin purse (not in photo) because my Kate Spade can’t hold more than 10 coins (it gets very fat quickly!); and Three, a card case from Regina’s in Shoppesville that carries all the other cards I own. You must know how excited I am to finally just carry a maximum of TWO wallets in my ever so heavy purse! I had 14 cards in total in those wallets. Want to see how kiepsky™ kept my cards in its tiny body?
This is how the kiepsky™ SlimTrim wallet look like empty:
This is how it looks like with 14 cards and 5 paper bills. I still had space inside for more!
It honestly doesn’t feel thick or heavy at all! Granted that my wallet didn’t have a lot of cash at the time (when have I ever had looots of cash?! LOL), I think it could have held more paper bills than the 5 I had in there. This is my parting photo to my Kate Spade and card case because my kiepsky™ SlimTrim wallet can hold everything!
I now only have my kiepsky™ and my coin purse in my bag. I hope they make one in the future that would have a coin purse in it or perhaps a cellphone pouch too! But I have a feeling they are already brewing something over at kiepsky™ based on this part of their website:
How exciting! Oh, let’s talk about pricing! You can get your very own kiepsky™ SlimTrim wallet at their introductory price of $57.25. What else do you get with your SlimTrim aside from this sexy wallet made of premium, naturally-tanned leather?
The SlimTrim has 4 Easy Access Slots and a Pull Card Tab Slot for infrequently-used cards.
There is also a hidden card pouch, a micro-sim card pocket and a SIM card ejector tool pocket.
The SlimTrim wallet is backed by their Lifetime Limited Warranty too! It comes in the following colors: Blue Saxe, Russet Brown (this is what I have!), Rustic Rose (I’m drooling for this one!), and Smoke Gray.
This is like the perfect gift for your boyfriend/husband/dad who carries those thick, heavy leather wallets in their pockets. This changes the game with “Dad Wallets”. They don’t have to look grotesque anymore! I can’t wait for the next products Kiepsky will reveal to us! I’m wishing for long wallets, maybe one with a coin purse (but I can make do without it!).
