Last Saturday, I was invited to the grand opening of latest store of Baskin-Robbins in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig. I brought along Jacob because he looooves chocolate ice cream. I had to bribe him away from going straight to my in-laws’ place where he was supposed to go swimming. Chocolate ice cream won! He had two cups of ice cream: a Fundae Sundae and a single scoop of their regular chocolate ice cream. I forgot what exactly was the flavor of ice cream he got.
I didn’t quite enjoy mine because I’m not a fan of wild, unique flavors of ice cream. I’m more of a vanilla kind of girl! But I decided to try out Baskin Robbins’ Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream and I GOT HOOKED! Oh my goodness, I should have asked for 3 scoops!
If you’re not familiar with what a Fundae Sundae is at Baskin-Robbins, here’s what you do: 1) Choose your ice cream flavor. 2) Choose your topping 3) Dip your ice cream cone, again and again!
Baskin-Robbins Bonifacio High Street is the newest branch of the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops. Now shoppers and residents can get their premier hard scoop ice cream fix, customized ice cream cakes and a full range of frozen beverages at Bonifacio High Street!
The grand opening was jam-packed with fun and memorable activities and treats for everybody. Seriously, there were a lot of people!
Everybody was lining up for a Fundae Sundae or a Waffle Wonderland. The little ones were treated to a face painting booth and balloons! You could also get your photos at the event printed out. We were treated by a lively performance by the UP Dance Company.
