Last Saturday, I was invited to the grand opening of latest store of Baskin-Robbins in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig. I brought along Jacob because he looooves chocolate ice cream. I had to bribe him away from going straight to my in-laws’ place where he was supposed to go swimming. Chocolate ice cream won! He had two cups of ice cream: a Fundae Sundae and a single scoop of their regular chocolate ice cream. I forgot what exactly was the flavor of ice cream he got.

Lining up for his Fundae Sundae! He chose oreo cookies as his topping and then a chocolate-kind of ice cream.

He finished it within minutes!

I didn’t quite enjoy mine because I’m not a fan of wild, unique flavors of ice cream. I’m more of a vanilla kind of girl! But I decided to try out Baskin Robbins’ Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream and I GOT HOOKED! Oh my goodness, I should have asked for 3 scoops!

My scoop of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! Yum!

If you’re not familiar with what a Fundae Sundae is at Baskin-Robbins, here’s what you do: 1) Choose your ice cream flavor. 2) Choose your topping 3) Dip your ice cream cone, again and again!

I miss Baskin-Robbins!!! Unfortunately, I am maintaining a normal blood sugar level so I’m prohibited to eat ice cream. Darn it! I’ll just salivate over your pictures. 🙂

  2. I’m a big fan of ice cream and I would love to try that one. Your kid seems to be really happy and satisfied. I desire they will open a branch here in Cebu as well.

  3. Yummy! Nice pictures. Good job in making me crave. I am thinking twice about making my kids see your post. Haha

  4. And incidentally, I’ve just had my dinner when our nanny was asking me to buy ice cream. Haha Well, this could be a sign. But, maybe I’ll have the ice cream treat on Saturday. 😀 This is an interesting Ice Cream Place. How was the Pink Ice Cream?

  5. Fred says:

Joy is a cone of ice cream. Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream sounds like I will like it too. Although I personally prefer fruit based ice cream flavors.

  6. Franc Ramon says:

Anyhow, I like their concept and knowing it is ice cream, I can’t wait to give them a try pretty soon!

Yummylicious! Baskin and Robbins is one of my favorite brands since long time. In the hot sun, ice cream is a must.

  10. Tiffany Yong says:

Baskin Robbins is a pretty high end brand and I rarely eat ice-cream as I think they are pretty sinful~ The one I took often was Mr Bean’s soya ice-cream~
