My boys are picky with things that touch their skin. They unfortunately got that from their Momma, the ever sensitive one! So when we find products that works for them, we become loyal talaga to that brand, even if it costs a little more than the rest in the market. Lately, I’ve been going back and forth with wipes at the grocery. A lot of them have fragrance or some sort of added stuff that doesn’t sit well with Jacob and Wacky’s skin. Or the fact that a looot of them are sooo tiny and thin, you’d need a bunch of them to clean baby’s soiled bum (before washing with water, of course!). Nakatipid ka nga, but you finished the whole pack naman in just a few days. Quality wins over talaga for me. That may seem annoying to my husband, but really, I don’t compromise especially if it’s for the kids.
So when we got this big basket of amazing stuff from Cetaphil Baby, I went for two things agad: first, the Cetaphil Baby Ultra Sensitive Baby Wipes for Wacky; second, the Cetaphil Baby Massage Oil with Shea Butter for Jacob. I’ll tell you more about massage oil in another post!
Let me tell you about our new favorite wipes, Ultra Sensitive Cetaphil Baby Wipes.
[su_quote]The Ultra Sensitive Cetaphil Baby Wipes is perfect for babies with delicate normal skin. It has soothing Aloe Vera, cotton extract and Vitamin E which helps prevent nappy rash to develop.[/su_quote]
We used to buy from S&R a big box of Huggies Natural wipes, but they seemed to stop importing them so we were left with no choice but to buy the ones sa grocery. None of them compare to the Huggies ones. So when we got the Cetaphil Baby Wipes, I wasn’t really expecting much. BUT MY GOSH, I was surprised that Wacky was able to use it with no problem. Wacky has atopic dermatitis (aka super sensitive skin). I’m very maingat when it comes to him (super, super ingat!). I read the ingredients for the Cetaphil Baby Ultra Sensitive Baby Wipes and it seemed all good so we tried it. He doesn’t get reactions like from the ones that are supposedly “sensitive” and “hypoallergenic” at the grocery. The fact that his sensitive skin is okay with the Cetaphil Baby wipes is very impressive.
We went out for Mom’s birthday lunch yesterday and I used Cetaphil Baby Wipes to clean Jacob’s face from all the chocolate fondue he had!
We opened the pack almost two weeks ago. It has lasted this long because each sheet is thick that there’s no need to use multiple wipes for nappy changes.
I just have to say a little disclaimer though, that although my boys are okay to use Cetaphil Baby products even with their sensitive skin, please check first with your pedia or use at your own risk if you know your baby has sensitive skin too. The Cetaphil Baby line is for babies with normal skin kasi. We are just very lucky that the boys are hiyang with Cetaphil Baby. I’m a lucky Cetaphil Mommy! Oh, and if you’re wondering how much these wipes are. The SRP for the Cetaphil Baby Ultra Sensitive Baby Wipes is Php 198.00 for 80 pulls. It costs more than the others sa market talaga, but it’s worth the price naman. Two weeks for a pack of 80 wipes for us?! I’m a happy Cetaphil Mommy! Wacky loves the elephant blanky that came with our basket of Cetaphil Baby products too! He’s sooo cute!
