You know how I said oral care is so important for us adults on this post? Well, the same goes for our little ones, even when they haven’t grown their little teeth yet. When Jacob was little, we used to clean his mouth at bedtime by getting a small soft cloth, damp with water (drinking water!) and then we’d gently rub his gums and little teeth. But that’s not really enough! We did the same for Wacky until my good friends from Crescom Biomedics, same folks who are the official distributors of Honeysuckle Breastmilk Bags and Belly Armor, sent us some Spiffies Baby Toothwipes and Toothgel!

Spiffies Oral Wipes can be used by infants and toddlers as young as 4 months to 18 months. This is around the time early childhood tooth decay can begin. So best if we can avoid it all together by making sure baby’s oral hygiene in check! Spiffies is pediatrician recommended and was actually developed by a pediatrician too! Dr. Ray Wagner is a board-certified pediatrician of the American Academy of Pediatrics. It has also been clinically tested by the International and American Associations of Dental Research.

I’m usually iffy with anything that will go into Joaquin’s mouth, food or whatnot, because of his allergic tendency and eczema flares. But Spiffies is perfectly safe because it’s made with an all-natural ingredient, Xylitol, which is proven to reduce cavity-causing bacteria and prevent tooth decay. And yes, it is safe to swallow because it’s fluoride free. As your child gets older, you can switch up to Spiffies I Can Brush Tooth Gel.

Just to share with you guys, Joaquin’s formula has a very unpleasant smell. Super not like breastmilk (nothing can compare!) or any other formula in the market because it’s specially made for babies who are allergic to milk or soy. So yeah, it’s stinky therefore it leaves his mouth super stinky at the end of the day too! Cleaning his mouth with Spiffies compared to just using cloth and water makes a whole world of difference.

It’s super easy to use too. Open up the cute little pack of Spiffies Oral Wipes, wrap it around your finger and clean your little one’s baby teeth or gums! So easy!

Thanks Spiffies! It’s Joaquin-approved!

I’ve seen this on the recent SLMC Global’s Mom 101 and got me really interested for my future baby. Makes me want to try it myself too since it’s got grapes flavor which sounds yum! Haha. 😀
