Back when I was still pregnant with Jacob, I really made sure I was buying the best of the best for my first born. I figured, if I get the best gears and other baby needs, my second baby would inherit them from their older brother. If not inherit literally, I’d buy the same one when the time comes. Like the breastpump that I used with Jacob, I was still able to use it with Joaquin until I got a newer, more portable one from So everything I learned back then on what the great brands were and what were not, I applied while preparing for Joaquin to arrive.

One of the brands I’m loyal to is Cycles and Cradle. Cross my heart, I love their mild detergent and gentle bottle cleaner! The detergent is perfect for baby’s sensitive skin and I love the smell. If baby smell can be bottled up and made into something wonderful, ito na yun! Cradle can be used not only for baby’s bottles and teats but also for baby’s toys AND fruits and veggies, too! For the boys’ veggies, we clean with either salt and water or with purely Cradle. Just soak them for a few minutes and wash thoroughly (as in scrub with your fingers the apple’s skin for instance). It gives me the peace of mind that my baby’s veggies and fruits were clean well. I also don’t like that regular dishwashing liquid leaves such a strong smell AND taste when we use them (when we run out of Cradle). That’s just not safe for anyone, even with thorough washing ha!

Before I packed away Jacob’s baby clothes that he has outgrown back in 2012, I washed them with Cycles for the last time so it can be put to storage smelling good. I kid you not, when I opened the boxes of clothes in 2014 so I can wash them for Joaquin, they still had the smell (albeit a little bit faint) of Cycles. I was getting teary eyed because the smell reminded me of a a baby Jacob. Yung amoy baby and mabango, not my no sweaty and sticky little boy. Though he’s still yummy!

I truly promote Cycles to my mom friends when they ask what detergent we use because I’m a satisfied mommy. Jacob had a fairly sensitive skin so we really used it until he was around 3 years old. By that time, we were already preparing for Wacky. You know how Wacky has super sensitive skin. We can only use the mildest detergent on him and Cycles is that brand. I got to enjoy Cycles again with our newborn. His clothes were soft and they smelled good!

If you blindfold me and make me guess by smell between Cycles and other detergents, I would nail it! I’m so happy that I am part of their big celebration. I received this heavy package earlier this week. Hooray!

Cycles and Cradle are celebrating their 10th Year of providing our babies and us moms the utmost care we deserve. Cycles Mild Detergent and Cradle Bottle Cleaner aren’t the only products under EVEolution Inc. They also have the Cycles Sensitive Line with their hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free lotion and head to toe wash.

You can also use on baby the Cycles Sensitive Diaper Cream and Cycles Sensitive Insect Repellant. Their insect repellant comes in two variants: Natural Insect Repellant (for birth and up!) and Non-DEET Insect Repellant (for 6 months and up!). We like the Natural one the most. 🙂

For cleaning up, you can depend on Cradle Toy & Surface Cleaner. It comes with a big spray and a handy spray bottle that you can bring around when you’re out and about with baby.

Looks like they have great products. Are these available in leading drugsotres? Or there are private suppliers?

We were also Cradles and Cycles users up to my kids’ toddler years. We always had stocks of the detergent, bottle cleaner, and toy/surface cleaner. I don’t think the wash and lotion were already available 3 years ago though. If I knew about those, we’d have used them as well. 🙂

I remember when Little MrC was a baby, it wasn’t so easy finding good products for his sensitive skin. These are so great for your little one’s eczema!

I love Cycles and Cradles! These two brands were household names when my son was still a baby. Now I don’t use all of their products anymore, but some remained to be staples like their mosquito patches. I’m truly satisfied with these brands!

  9. Awwww….I only kept a handful of baby clothes. My kids kasi napasa pasa talaga ang mga clothes, kaya maraming basahanin na hahaha. The rest, I gave away. The other day, I saw some oftheir baby stuff and I felt nostalgic, heehee. I don’t think I’ve ever tried Cycles back then. 🙂
