So so sorry for the lack of updates. We currently don’t have DSL connection at home and have been relying on my Globe 3G connection to get online which is a bit slow at this point. Husband has been using it too for work and I’ve been MIA EVERYWHERE!
I have so many things to write about! Our Babypalooza trip, Mommy Treat’s yummy and very effective lactation muffins and cookies, Lola’s advance birthday gift to Mr. Jacob, and so much more!
Some quick updates:
I don’t even have my iPhone at the moment so no photos. 🙁 I had to surrender it to Globe for some fixing or hopefully replaced with a new unit because the sensor in front doesn’t work anymore. Something to do with the new iOS update that really messed up my phone. I still have a week and a half to go (minimum!) so hopefully it gets resolved soon because I am going nuts!
I realized (I’m phone-less and Internet-less since Friday!) that I’m very, very dependent on technology. I told Oscar this while I was gushing how much fun I had with Jacob this weekend. We were running around the village and that the two of us got to catch up and really spend quality time with each other. He said that it’s because I’m not on my phone 24/7 tinkering over at Instagram or Twitter. He’s right though! I’ve been itching to get my hands on any gadget but I don’t have any (except for my old iPhone 3GS which he uses but it’s just sooooo slow for me!). I kinda like this ‘rehab’ thing. 😀
|My phone for the meantime!|
So I’ve been using my trusty Nokia emergency phone. Which I shared over at Facebook last Saturday how I’ve been getting calluses on my thumb for texting too much!
Jacob’s got a new nanny and we love her! Oh, I hope she doesn’t change. She’s nice, young, and very attentive (to both Jacob and us!). I pray to God that she stays with us forever because I can definitely see a future here. Oh God, please protect her from evil acts and thoughts and that she may be guided by your spirit as she becomes part of our family.
With God’s blessing, we’ve been planning and starting a few businesses of our own. One is already on its way, while the other two are still in the works. I just need our Internet connection back up so I can start them!
And save the best for last: Jacob’s been going to Sunday School at Victory Fort since the start of the month and it’s been a blast! They’re just playing around at this point, but I can’t wait for him to transfer rooms when he turns 2 years old and finally get to learn more about God and our faith. Nakaka-taba ng puso when we all go to Church as a family. Now I’m the one pushing our little family every weekend to go Makati over the weekend so we can attend Church.
I have so many kwentos I wish I can write all day! But I’m so busy playing with the little one (and Mr. Jacob’s Dad is on the computer working). I actually just spent the whole day doing chores. In the morning, I went to the mall as soon as it opened to buy fruits and veggies (OH I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SHARE!) and some housekeeping items.
And after lunch, I washed and cleaned the car! YES, I DID! It was my first time doing it so I don’t know if I did it right or not. But the car is shiny and clean, I even wiped the dashboard and all. I wanted to get all that done by my favorite Auto Detailing Shop in Capitol Hills, but it’s far and I don’t have budget yet! So DIY muna!
