I just got back from my trip to the US about two weeks ago before I found out we were expecting. It was a total surprise since we were all planning our July 2011 wedding. I even got my bridal gown in the US already, I hand-carried it all the way from New Jersey! Thank God I was on Business Class or it would have been such a hassle carrying that thing on Economy.

It was 3 days before my birthday when I decided to take a home pregnancy test. I wanted to know for sure if I was or wasn’t pregnant before I go out and celebrate my birthday like a teenager. I also had the gut feeling that I was pregnant but needed some confirmation. I bought a Medic Pregnancy Test at the local Mercury Drugstore before I went to buy groceries. When I got home, I took a test watched it as the liquid flowed on the test area. Seeing that a double line wasn’t showing that time, I went out of the bathroom and went on the computer. After 30 minutes, I went back to the bathroom and there is was! Two beautiful lines. I had mixed emotions! Happy, scared, excited, scared, worried, etc.

Like the first time, Osc was hard to reach! He was either sleeping or on the computer and his phone was on silent mode (hahaha!). I immediately wanted to go to my OB to confirm that I was indeed pregnant, but we had to wait until next week. So I decided to start taking my prenatal vitamins as early as that day to make sure baby will grow properly. I also started drinking Anmum twice a day then. Though as I went further along with the pregnancy, it made me feel sick whenever I would smell it (lol).

Here are my early pregnancy ultrasound pictures. I underwent like 3 ultrasounds to confirm baby because at first there was just the sac, the second time the sac only got bigger still no fetal pole but I swear I could make out something from the picture, the last one was during my emergency visit at Medical City because I was having pains on my lower left abdomen/pelvis so they had to check baby since we haven’t seen baby yet.
